ARK Servers

About This Panel

This is the control panel for our shared ARK: Survival Evolved server. You can check if a server is online, see how many players are connected, and view live logs — all without needing a token.

With an API token (ask an admin), you can also:

• Start / Stop — launch or shut down a server directly from the browser.
• Download Settings — grab the current GameUserSettings.ini to review or back up the server configuration.
• Upload Settings — replace the server's GameUserSettings.ini with your own (server must be stopped). You can generate a custom config using the ARK ini generator.
• Download Save File — download the latest world save as a backup.
• Upload Save File — restore a previous save or transfer a world (server must be stopped).

Enter your API token in the field at the top and click Save. The token is stored in your browser and sent with every request.

Auto-shutdown: If no players are connected for 15 minutes, the server will shut down automatically to save resources. Simply start it again when you want to play.

How to Join

1. Make sure the server shows Online above. If it is offline, click Start and wait until the status changes (this can take a few minutes).
2. In Steam, go to View > Servers.
3. Select the Favorites tab and click Add A Server.
4. Enter the address for the server you want to join:
   • The Island — ark.sensadir.de:27015
   • Fjordur — ark.sensadir.de:27016
   If the domain does not work:
   1. Open your command line / terminal
   2. Run: ping ark.sensadir.de
   3. Use the IP address shown in the response (with the same port)
5. Open ARK: Survival Evolved.
6. Click Join ARK.
7. At the bottom of the server browser, set the filter to Favorites.
8. Select SensadirsAwesomeServer.
9. Enter the password: WitchItPasswort

Troubleshooting

Wrong MOD version

Unsubscribe from all mods in the Steam Workshop, then reconnect. The game will automatically download the correct versions.

Cannot connect to server

The server's IP address may have changed. Remove the old favorite in Steam and re-add it using the steps in "How to Join" above.

Server shows Online but I can't find it

Make sure you have the Favorites filter selected in the ARK server browser. If you still don't see it, try adding the server address again in Steam.

Upload buttons are greyed out

You need a valid API token and the server must be stopped before you can upload settings or save files.
